Hidden Threads of Blue
Hidden Threads of Blue, a space where art, dialogue, and collective care come together. At the heart of our project is cyanotype printmaking, a photographic process that harnesses sunlight to translate shadows into blue and white imprints. The process traces memory, while the colour blue captures a wide spectrum of emotions — from sorrow and melancholy to comfort and hope.
Hidden Threads of Blue is designed to be a safe space where visitors are not merely spectators but active participants. Through knotting, sewing, and cyanotype workshops, you can experience the therapeutic qualities that encourage deeper connection with yourself and with others.

Arts & Design Practice Research Exchange 2025 (ADPRex)
The Arts & Design Practice Research Exchange (ADPRex) is Southeast Asia’s first annual conference dedicated to practice research. ADPRex positions the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore as the leading centre of arts and design practice research in this region, where artists and thinkers come together to share ideas and insights at the apex of arts and design practice and innovative thinking.

Beyond Print explores the transformative power of printmaking across art, design, and product creation through techniques such as cyanotype, etching, lithography, screen printing, and risograph. This exhibition examines how printmaking has evolved and extended beyond traditional boundaries, featuring precision fine art prints and innovative applications in graphic and product design. “Fragmented Flow” - mersie’s solo exhibition in Seoul, Korea is an amalgamation of her exploration of the contemporary sublime and anxiety in the post-pandemic era, as a Singaporean living in Seoul, Korea. Through Cyanotype and video, everyday documentation and ephemera are transformed into abstract blue imagery, inviting viewers to delve into the intersection of fear and wonder. This exhibition delves into personal experiences of isolation and anxiety, reflecting universal sentiments felt in urban city spaces.
