Blue became the language of sublime expression for Tee and allow her to evoke conflicting emotions such as melancholy and peace, sorrow and rest. Embracing abstraction, her fragmented collages and photograms mirror the distorted perception flooded by anxiety of the post-pandemic society. This is realized through the medium of Cyanotype printmaking in which objects and photography is used in her abstract collages. Cyanotype printmaking played a therapeutic role in materializing hidden aspects of her inner world.
