"Here and Then, There and Now" is a documentation of personal encounters with anxiety during the post-pandemic era, through four metaphors: Water, Transit, Time-lapsed and Window. The amalgamation of which is a visual-audio expression of Tee’s experience of Sublime in contemporary Korea and Singapore. Imagery and sounds from various space and time dwells within a frame as she view herself reflected in the hyper-connected world full of signs and traces of inner significance. Through the extended rückenfigur, the artist gains back agency from the pain from the past into a deeper understanding of the connections of my self with the world and my future.

이번 전시에서 작가는 공포와 경외심의 감정을 동시에 일으키는 숭고함에 관한 새로운 해석을 보여준다. 팬데믹 상황 속 개인적 불안, 우울, 트라우마의 감정과 전 세계를 휩쓴 불가항력적 힘에 놓인 인간의 연약함을 반추하며 ‘현대적 숭고함’을 연구하고 작업에 담아내고자 했다. 또한 작가는 오늘날 사회적 고립이 극단화되고 있지만 모순적으로 가상 세계를 통해 초연결(hyper-connectivity)되어 있는 도시의 양가적인 모순점을 포착하는 데 관심을 둔다.
