Hidden Threads of Blue is a space where art, dialogue, and collective care come together.
Hidden Threads of Blue is a project that delves into the therapeutic potential of art and design through a hybrid of digital and hands-on methods. Using the language of blue, threads and the cyanotype printmaking process, the silenced stories of mental struggles are transformed into a collective expression of empathy and resilience.
Public workshops allowed people from all walks of life to gather and share their life stories through the creation of their own unique cyanotype prints. Each piece was then sewn into a larger tapestry, the accumulation of which showcases a society connected by shared blues.
Our online portal and its interactive survey received more than 100 entries organically from the public, over the span of 6 months. These insights informed how we curated the exhibition, shaping it into an interactive space where visitors were not merely spectators but active participants in reflection, making, and conversation.
29 October 2025 to 12 November 2025 @ Fashion Gallery. Project supported by Collab Lab Grant (TLC, NAFA).
